Description
The Mason series depicts a young African American boy who lives in an urban neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents are two teachers who work hard to make a great life for him and his sister Ulani. He loves to ask questions and learn new things as he figures out life growing up as an African American boy. It follows Mason through many learning experiences and stages of life accompanied by his family and friends within his neighborhood and school. The Mason series is based upon real characters, coupled with real-life scenarios.
